We are a group of railway enthusiasts who research, study and build models of narrow gauge railways throughout the world. Typically we have a special interest in narrow gauge railways in Canada and especially in the province of Ontario.
What is a narrow gauge railway?
A narrow gauge railway is one with a gauge less than the standard 4” 8½” gauge. The most common gauges historically were typically 2 foot, 3 foot and 42”gauge but there many other gauges.
What do we do?
We share what we have learned in several ways:
- We share our projects and information here on this website, on our Facebook page and through a Yahoo Group
- We meet informally at least once a year typically in the fall to discuss railways and display models
- We hold an annual “Narrow Gauge Madness” train show near Toronto, Ontario, Canada
