Narrow Gauge Canadian Tourist Railways
- Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway – “The Portage Flyer” operates in Huntsville, Ontario during the summer months using an authentic original 0-4-0 steam locomotive (during July and August) and open passenger cars.
- White Pass & Yukon Railway – Travels 67.5 miles by train between Skagway, Alaska in the U.S.A. to Carcross, Yukon Territory in Canada, along the same route that the Klondike stampeders traversed in 1898!

- Toronto Railway Museum – Home of a 40’5″ Gauge Porter (see image below)
- Exporail– Canada’s national railway museum; Operated and owned by the Canadian Railway Historical Association in Delson/St.Constance, Quebec
- Coastal Railway Museum – Housed in the original Riverhead Railway Station of the famed narrow gauge Newfoundland Railway in St. John’s Newfoundland.
- Revelstoke Railway Museum – Located in Revelstoke, British Columbia and Craigellachie, B.C., the site of the driving of the Last Spike on the CPR
- West Coast Railway Heritage Park – Operated by the West Coast Railway Historical Association in Squamish, B.C.
- Canadian Museum of Rail Travel – Located in Cranbrook, B.C. and dedicated to the history of passenger rail travel in Canada.
Narrow Gauge Model Railroads
- Dave Manary’s On30 Niagara Southern Scenic Railroad – A nicely done line in a small room using full size Colorado-style equipment
- Lex Parker’s On3 D&RGW – a classic layout with many how-to videos on many topics. representing Chama, NM on Oct 17, 1937.
- David Woodhead’s On3 Madoc and North Hastings – Influenced by Eastern narrow gauge lines such as the OR&W and W&W, with a portable 2′ gauge industrial mini-layout as well.
- Dave Burroughs’ On3 Sonjora Branch – an imaginary branch of the D&RGW, full scenery and fine operation.
- Jeff Young’s pages – Jeff has many interests – he’s modelled most of the Huntsville equipment, the Erie Peat operation, and writes a column on live steam in Garden Railways magazine.
- Bill Scobie’s Sn3 RGS (well, OK, this is in Quebec) – a fine basement-sized Sn3 layout representing the RGS.
- Art Midwood’s RGS on Youtube – many fine videos of this On3 layout.
